So I was looking at the submissions I have been credited in this year and realized what a great year for Newgrounds it has been for me! And of course for the good friends who I cherish who by the grace of God have allowed me to collaborate with them on fantastic fun animations.
Ratbasterdz by @jonathan was a blast to write with but getting my own episode to play around with was such a privilege. Check out his blogs about the cartoons too, it's like a dessert to a meal most delicious! Such fun animation in this one, and great pacing and energy, all thanks to all the talented folks animating and Jon as director! Jon is one of my oldest friends so seeing him coming into his own as an artist makes me excited for everything he makes.
Babe Alert by the friendly lil @Pjorg was an unexpected but very welcome collaboration which I am so grateful to be able to voice act on as a recurring character! I always dreamed of having a recurring role to continually come back to and refine, though of course I love the goofy bit parts. Pjorg and I have similar sensibilities in a lot of ways so getting to see him get to develop and write his own series is very inspiring!
And look, technically it's not new, but it's finally on Newgrounds so I gotta give props to @Spinalpalm and An Amazing Day! This was actually a birthday present for me last year, so I am very happy that the in-jokes and total absurdity of it was enjoyable to those outside the know, something Spinalpalm excels at. He is my oldest and best friend on this Earth and it was an honor to inspire such a funny cartoon.
And of course, we cannot discuss 2025 without mention of Dinner 2 by @Croody. I didn't participate in making this video, but I am fully supportive of Croody and my other friends who contributed to this wild cartoon. I think this is one of those cartoons that was lightning captured in a bottle, and who knows... Maybe the lightning will stick around for another course...? I can't wait to see. Check out his prints bro!
And hey, what the hell, I can't mention superb online animation without mention of @Speedo and Punch Punch Forever! It's hitting on such a unique aesthetic and humor that really sets it apart from anything else out there, and the quality and consistency of the visuals and jokes elevate it to surely a God-tier status.
And yes, I shall forever be impressed by @nihaho and @mikecarf for their production of Bridge Kids and keeping up with the quality of those. They really fleshed out a cast of funny characters, and though they have thus far ignored my numerous suggestions for episode plots, they were gracious enough to allow me to help in... Other ways.
And that's just my friends' stuff! Imagine all the great stuff I am skimming over! @Xandrecos and @golfinho for instance continue to put out amazing cartoons, as do many other users! Hell I'm just skimming the surface. Go on. Take a dive.
